A Letter from the President
As we look back on another remarkable year at Bibles for America (BfA), we are filled with gratitude for all that the Lord has done through your faithful support. There was a significant rise in Bible orders in the latter half of this year—more than we ever could have anticipated—and we sense deeply that the Lord is moving in a fresh and powerful way in the United States.
We thank the Lord that in 2025 we were able to distribute over 205,000 Bibles and 41,000 physical books in this country, while our digital content reached over one million people in nearly every country on earth.
Amos 8:11 reads, “Indeed days are coming, declares the Lord Jehovah, when I will send a hunger into the land, not a hunger for bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of Jehovah.” We believe these days are now upon us, and we look to the Lord as to how we can cooperate with Him to feed those who are hungry for His Word.
In these times our eyes remain upon the Lord, the One who is on the throne and sovereignly ruling over every situation. We believe that all things are being arranged for the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, that many might be saved and come to the full knowledge of the truth.
Thank you for faithfully standing with us. We believe the Lord will continue to be with us as we endeavor to spread His Word in the year ahead, looking to Him for His blessing upon our labor.
May the Lord bless you richly in 2026 and beyond, and may He gain our hearts for all He desires to accomplish this year.

Bibles for America is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to give away free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and Christian books throughout the United States.
BfA was founded by believers in Christ who took to heart God’s desire for “all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4).

2025: A Year of Deeper Seeking in the US
Statistics show that Bible sales in the US have skyrocketed over the past few years, particularly in the latter half of 2025. At BfA, we also saw a significant surge in Bible orders during this time. In September, we sent out 24,500 Bibles, and in October, we shipped over 28,000 Bibles, the most we've ever distributed in a single month.
This surge was not due to any changes we made related to our advertising budget or marketing strategy. Rather, we have a strong sense that this is a result of the Lord moving in a fresh and powerful way in the United States. We believe that 2025 set the stage for a unique and special season for God’s purpose in this country, even against the backdrop of these uncertain times of political and social upheaval.
It’s rare these days to find an organization that gives away free physical Bibles that can be ordered online. More and more, BfA’s mission has become unique—to give away God’s Word completely free of charge with no strings attached. The Lord has prepared the environment, the infrastructure, and even the hunger in people’s hearts for His Word to run like never before in this country. We continue to look to Him for His faithful supply to meet this ever-growing demand.
Our Programs
Bible and Book Distribution
Meeting the Demand for God's Word
To meet the growing demand for God's Word, in 2025 we placed orders for 525,000 English copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and 25,000 Spanish copies for distribution in 2026. This is the largest number of Bibles we’ve ever purchased in a single year.
To facilitate the going out of these Bibles, we have made improvements to our distribution process. The Bibles are now delivered shrink-wrapped and ready to be labeled. We also purchased and installed an automatic labeling machine. These upgrades have greatly reduced the time needed for processing as well as manpower requirements, allowing us to increase our weekly Bible packaging capacity.

Hearing from Recipients
At the beginning of the year, we sent out a survey to recent Bible recipients in an effort to identify any areas for improvement in our process and get feedback on how they’re using the New Testament Recovery Version in their daily lives.
The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. We learned that people all over the country are craving the deeper truths in the Bible and are receiving much help and nourishment from the Recovery Version. Recipients reported that the outlines, cross-references, and footnotes are very useful in both their personal and group study of the Word.

Okra Strut in South Carolina
In September 2025, local volunteers in South Carolina secured a booth to give away Bibles at the Irmo Okra Strut. They gave away around 400 copies each of the New Testament Recovery Version; Basic Elements of the Christian Life, vol. 1; and Spiritual Nourishment. A young volunteer shared his testimony with us:
“When I went to the Irmo Okra Strut I was excited to go but I was also nervous to talk to people I don’t know. The first Bible I handed out felt really good, and after a little bit I got used to talking with people. It was a really good experience. I really enjoyed it. I felt like the Lord was with me.”
But the word of God grew and multiplied.
Digital Reach
In 2025, people from every continent went to our website to access our digital resources, including in places where the Word of God is not readily available. They visited blog posts and downloaded books by the tens and hundreds of thousands.

Blog Program
In 2025, the BfA Blog received 865,000 views and was read by people from all over the world. Posts are published in both English and Spanish and offer clear answers to questions about the Bible and the Christian faith.
In 2025, we received reports of young people in the US regularly using the blog to help them in their Christian walk. One group of young people in Arlington, TX gets into blog content during their regular Saturday night gatherings. Another group in Philadelphia also reads through various blog posts during their weekly meetings. Their testimony is that the blog has answered many of their own questions as well as those of their friends, and have led many to receive the Lord. We are encouraged by these reports and pray the blog will continue to be a source of blessing to so many as they seek to grow in God’s life.

Ebooks Program
We continue to offer a selection of free ebooks by Watchman Nee and Witness Lee on our site, with titles available to download in both English and Spanish. These ebooks can be accessed from anywhere in the world. In 2025 alone, they were downloaded nearly 1 million times, an 83% increase over 2024.
The top countries for book downloads in 2025 were India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Egypt. Since we can’t reach these countries with physical Bibles and books, we are thankful to the Lord for providing this avenue for us to spread the Word of God to people all over the world.
Videos
In April 2025, we launched a new video titled “What does the blood and water from Jesus’ side mean?” It details how behind the scenes of Jesus’ crucifixion, something amazing was taking place in the spiritual realm. In fact, the blood and water that came out of Jesus’ side when He was pierced is a sign full of spiritual significance. In this video, we address what the blood and water mean and how we can apply them in our Christian life today.
This video has had nearly 16,000 views across our social media channels, with the largest audience being people aged 25-34 on Instagram.
Social Media Outreach
In 2025, we made a concerted effort to improve our outreach on social media channels—particularly Facebook and Instagram—by posting more frequently with content specifically designed for these platforms. Social media functions as the modern-day town square, with a majority of US adults reporting that they use these channels. And the numbers grow even more when it comes to the younger generation. In 2025, Pew Research Center found that 80% of US adults aged 18-29 are active on Instagram alone.
With these factors in view, we felt it was a worthwhile endeavor to cultivate our presence on these platforms. Our goal is to bring God’s Word to people where they are, particularly young people, and we have been seeing some success with our new approach.
In October, we published content on social media based on our blog post Do You Need Help Understanding the Bible? This post went viral on Facebook with over 200,000 views and 400 shares, primarily reaching people who didn’t already follow us. We received comments from people stating that they ordered a New Testament Recovery Version as a result of seeing this post. We were encouraged to see this response demonstrating that people today are truly seeking to understand God’s Word, and are motivated to continue our efforts to reach them with our offer on these channels.

We would like to express our appreciation for our many donors whose generosity enabled us to carry out our mission in 2025. Thanks to their faithful support, BfA was able to distribute 205,500 Bibles throughout the US and to reach people all over the world with our digital resources.

Looking Ahead
The year ahead holds many opportunities for the New Testament Recovery Version to be distributed across the US. In 2026, the US will host the World Cup and will also celebrate the 250th anniversary of the country’s founding. World Cup matches will be played in 11 US cities and 5 cities in Canada and Mexico, with an estimated 6 million people from around the world expected to attend. Many cities on the East Coast and around the country will host events throughout the year to mark the 250th anniversary celebrations. We believe this is a unique moment in history for the Word of God to go forth in unprecedented ways.
As we move forward to meet the growing demand for God’s Word in this country, we ask for your continued prayer, fellowship, and practical support. The need is great, but the opportunity is even greater. We look to the Lord for His faithful supply to carry out this work.
